The spring 2008 program featured Richmond author David L. Robbins.
| The weekend began with a prime rib dinner at
Lowery’s Restaurant where David discussed what prompted him to become a
writer. A huge crowd enjoyed an evening of wine tasting from a local
winery, Belle Mount Vineyards, seafood appetizers and a wonderfully
funny lecture! Saturday guests were treated to a writer’s workshop
with David. Future writers were given professional advice on how to
write a novel. Saturday night guests at the Inn, local writers, and
others enjoyed a private dinner and cocktails on the Inn’s courtyard.
It was a memorable evening of stimulating conversation. Sunday, it was
breakfast, an opportunity to purchase a few books and get them signed
