Friday, August 15, 2008, we had our first “Weekday With A Writer”
featuring Governor Lynwood Holton. The idea of this afternoon-only
occasion was to open our events to those who are not available on the
weekends. We had a wonderful lunch at Lowery’s featuring their famous
Salad platter. Governor Holton spoke to a sold out crowd about his book
Opportunity Time. The event was highlighted by the presentation of a
generous donation from our latest sponsor: EVB
